Tooling Services

GNS America’s tool shop is located within a 10,000 square foot facility with full design, build, repair, prototype, and inspection capabilities. We have the ability to perform on-site die try-outs, and die capability runs through access to our production areas press lines.

Our tooling department has the ability to support their customers in all aspects of the tool & die trade. Our dedicated staff of designers, program managers, and journeymen are experienced in the handling of both single and multiple die program launches.

We perform die build, repair, troubleshooting, and prototyping of parts and tooling for our customers. Contract machining time on our CNC’s and wire EDM is a service we have performed for many tool & die shops throughout Michigan.

With a full time Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) technician on staff, we are able to verify quality throughout the die build. The reverse engineering capabilities of our CMM software has allowed us to recreate die sections when prints were unavailable. This has been a valuable asset for repairing older or resourced tools.
